Embrace your gift and the ability you have to take people to a new place, a new experience and a new understanding. Hi. I’m John Paul Fischbach, the Chief Alchemist here at the Auspicious Arts Incubator. I welcome you to another Hot Tip Tuesday. The theme this time is embrace the bigger picture. You’re an artist. That’s rare and beautiful. My personal belief is that the world needs us artists right now more than ever.
You have an incredible gift. Your ability to tell a story, to weave a pattern, to find a new perspective, to figure out the truth that is an incredible gift so please let the gift shine brightly. Dont bury that gift under a bushel, no time for that. We need to get on it and get at producing lots and lots of art, sharing our gift.
There is a bigger picture to you as an artist. There’s things that your art gives to the world, things where your art is of service to others. We can take people into an incredibly new and vibrant and loving experience. We do it all the time so there’s a bigger purpose to us being artists. It’s about embracing that gift, embracing that ability that we have to take people to a new place.
As many of you know I’ve spent over half of my life following a shamanic tradition. I was trained by Native American, Native Canadian elders and I have followed that tradition all my life. One of the things that I have learned as a part artist, part shaman, whole person we are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. I believe that that is absolutely true.
As an artist we can tap into a spiritual dimension and we can become that spiritual being that brings ideas into fruition that manifests new realities. There’s a bigger picture to our gift and I ask you to please embrace that bigger picture. Move your art into that realm where you are the beautiful spiritual being you are as an artist having a very exciting and dynamic human experience.
Every single time you create art you stretch a mind, you open a heart and you change a life. That is an incredibly beautiful gift so embrace this bigger picture. Go out and produce awesome art.
