I remain silent but very much appreciate the damn good advice transmitted each week on so many obvious and finer subtle aspects of being and staying upright as artists. I tell many about these gems and sure all get something from them. I’d say you, and the others..are quite unique in the wilingness to talk of psychological and heart aspects…although these days of course so much more at the fore…..as needed. This one on hugs a point in case….many walk balk at talking of such stuff, but of course so damn relevant.

I enjoyed your Hugs and the reasons for them. I am proud of being an Artist even if lowly paid and it was good to be reminded of my power. I have been going through the archive and unearthing treasures, rather like an archeological dig. I have re-found large charcoal drawings which are extremely powerful. When I put them up on the easel to photograph them they really have a power and that was the first word to come to mind. Later I listened to your video in the studio. It seemed very apt.
