Hi everyone. I’m here at the MindBodySpirit Festival for this week’s Hot Tip. It’s all about the intention behind the art that you make. I’m JohnPaul Fischbach, I’m the CEO and Chief Alchemist at the Auspicious Arts Incubator. And we’re here at the MindBodySpirit Festival because the point at which you connect the bigger picture of what you do with your art to the actual art, the more you can find the market that’s gonna love you, that’s gonna get you, that’s gonna appreciate what you do. So it’s been a bit of a theme over the last couple of days. We’ve been working one on one with a bunch of artists, and yesterday was a whole bunch of writers and it was really interesting to help them understand that there’s a reason that they wrote this story. That inside this story is a beautiful piece of wisdom or piece of healing or a bigger picture. And that once you talk about that, then that makes people curious to consume the art, right?
So one of the writers that we dealt with had written a whole beautiful children’s story about that beautiful story that you carry that everyone carries inside. So I said, well, it’s important to tell people that you believe that everyone carries a beautiful story and that particularly kids have a beautiful story inside. And then that conversation rolls and people get excited and interested about that. And then they want to read your book, right?
So it’s the title of the book, or the title of the art isn’t the thing that’s gonna make people interested. It’s that bigger picture, the wisdom that that’s wrapped in, the healing that that excites. All that stuff is what’s really important. So it’s been really fun to be here because it’s been really easy to have that conversation about the spiritual energy that surround the art or the spiritual reason why the art came to be.
o what I’d like you to do this week is think about the bigger picture. So you’ve created this art and what will this art if you put this art out in the world, what will happen to people? What will happen to people when they see the art, when they experience the art? What’s gonna happen in their mind, what’s gonna happen in their heart? And if you can talk about that that’s going to make people interested to actually see the actual art object or to experience the show or to hear the music. So that’s the Hot Tip for this week, is find that bigger, bigger, beautiful spiritual connection that you have that’s unwrapping the art that’s inside.
