Hi. Craig Lambie here, the Chief IT Guru here at the Auspicious Arts Incubator with another Hot Tip because it’s Tuesday. The tip this week is about getting two to five hours a week back into your pocket, back to go, back to being creative, about getting back into the studio or back into that rehearsal theatre. It’s part of our ongoing productivity series and a companion to Hot Tip Tuesday #8 about password security.

First let me ask you how long do you spend each week trying to fill in forms or signing into websites? How about remembering the log in into sites? If you’re like a lot of artists pre meeting me I bet you spend a lot of time doing those, filling in those forms, logging into sites or trying to log in. Maybe you try and save time by using the same password on every site. That’s a real no, no in online security. I talked about that in Hot Tip #8 so check that out again if you’ve got that same password issue.

Today I’m talking about online forms and how you can save heaps of time by automating that. Lastpass has a fantastic form filling function. You fill in a form once and then after that all you do is click a button and it will fill that form in for you every time you need to fill in the form online. That saves you 5 to 10 minutes every single time that you have to fill in a form. You dont have to go off searching for passwords, searching for your address, your credit card. All of those details can be stored in a Lastpass profile and save you stacks of time. No more searching around for your wallet to find that credit card number next time you go shopping online.

That’s this week’s Hot Tip. I hope you will save 5 to 10 minutes next time you’re filling in a form and between two and five hours a week by savings all that time by filling forms and get back into the studio. If you like that idea please like this vide. Below in the comments I’d love you to tell me the forms that you have filled in the last week. How many have you filled in or have you avoided filling in forms or applying for things or shopping online because it takes too much time. Tell us about it in the comments. I’d like to hear.

Maybe you know somebody that needs to save some time online. Could you share this video with them? Here at the Auspicious Arts Incubator we want you to more than survive as an artist we want you to thrive. In order to thrive please subscribe. I’ll see you next time.
