I thrive as an artist in many ways but still do not make the income I wish for with consistent sales.
I have considered in the past that my richest times developing a deep connection with earth/cosmos/spiritual realms have come about because I have been chosen to not be a part of the spending/consumerist culture. Given that, I wonder if somewhere in my psyche I still have a belief in authenticity versus abundance and expansive choice. I could certainly do with more art materials right now as I wish to experiment with new mediums.

Whilst I admire those who have made huge sacrifices to pursue their art practice (which may include me), at the end of the day there has to be reward for effort – tangible reward.
