Yes, I have been burnt by YES over the years as I grew up with a nourishing approach to everyone and everything as a school leader, gentile artist and harmony group singer or family upbringer where I had to accommodate things to make them work. You know. As I dont give up on anything I am fulfilling my promises but some old ones too late to gain from them anymore (rather damaged areas of work, you might know what I mean). Actually, without listening to your video, this week I said a new NO firmly to someone used to pressuring me constantly into the next thing and instead I just went on with my painting project. That someone got to learn something extra about me and my art and I feel stronger for the FUTURE as I start to “see” ahead. I had finished a 2 meter oil painting (landscape) in less than one week – 5 days working with the natural light only – due to saying a terrifying NO to good things? kind of new to me. (sorry for the bragging 😉 m
