Hi, John Paul Fischbach here, the CEO and Chief Alchemist of the Auspicious Arts Incubator with another hot tip for this Tuesday. I say aloha because this week I’m sharing with you the fifth law of Huna which actually is “Aloha.” Love is to be happy with, is what it means. This fifth law really sums everything up. Love is the key to a wonderful, happy, and fulfilling life, and this is what we should strive for. When you love, you become happy with something or someone. There’s a very powerful connection between love and happiness. And your art is a vehicle for putting love out into the world. I think maybe that’s why we’re happiest when we’re making the art, when we’re in our studio, or the rehearsal. So let’s review the first four laws to see the importance of this fifth law, “love is to be happy with.”
So, if the world is what you think it is and there are no limits, and energy flows where tension goes, and now is the moment of power, well this means that at every moment we have a choice to make. The choice is to choose love, or choose fear, anger, hatred, despair. I think that this is really where this comes home for us as artists, it’s to examine the times when we choose criticizing or we choose judging versus the times we choose praise and acknowledgment. Are you focusing on the good things or the bad things? Are you talking about how you don’t want it to be or are you talking about how you do want it to be? Criticism and judgment tighten the body. Love, praise, and acknowledgment relaxes the body.
Remember the third law, “energy flows where attention goes.” Whatever you focus on is gonna grow. So therefore, focusing on the problem through critique and judgment will make the problem stronger, while focusing on the good things or the change you want is gonna make that grow. So love really is everything, so give it, be it, receive it, become it, fully embrace it at all times and then watch your happiness grow. Your happiness becomes infectious and your passion for life unstoppable, and the attainment of your goals and dreams, a great possibility. It’s a pretty simple lot to comprehend, but very to achieve. So that’s the fifth law of Huna “love is to be happy with.” So here’s what I’d like you to try. Three things this week, they’re pretty simple. Choose love. You know you have a choice, you can choose fear you can choose love. Try to choose love. You can choose happiness. You can choose despair or you can choose happiness. Try to choose happiness. Okay? And the third thing is to bless others. Bless others with your love, bless others with just your smile, and absolutely this week you can bless others with your attention because to love is to be happy with.
So if this was helpful, please share this tip with other artists. It’s great to take them on this journey of the Huna laws with you. And when you need real practical advice for your arts business, check us out here at www.auspiciousartsincubator.org.
